Ruby magazine was the love child of a group of seriously busy women who really wanted a magazine that reflected who they are.

We couldn't find one on the shelves, so we decided to make one. Ruby celebrated all that is precious about modern women - their strength, their character, their limitless value. And just because we all love to have a laugh, there were always a few tales of our foibles to be found in the mag as well. From bright young things, to manic mums to fabulous women of a certain age, Ruby was for all the wonderful women who live, love and work in our region.

Ruby (sob, sob, snuffle, wipe away panda eyes) finished publishing in August 2016. We loved almost every minute we spent creating her and sending her out into the world - and the bits we didn't love were easily washed away by champers and Tim Tams - and miss her every time we hear a funny, sad or joyful tale of this mad modern life. But she will live on in cyberspace ... just like those embarrassing birthday party photos that just won't disappear!

Big love to all who loved our girl, Ruby. x
